Are Leggings Pants?

Let me spare you the anticipation. No. Leggings are not pants.

Perhaps this is a controversial statement, but it is a matter of opinion, and I stand by the opinion I have formed.

Some of you may say, but wait, you are wearing leggings as pants here. Legging shorts even. Well, here's the caveat. I consider leggings to be appropriate as long as they cover all the business up front and in the back. Granted, the first photo in this post does break the rule a bit, but generally I don't go around holding a sweater owl above my head. With my hands down at my sides, I'm good to go.

Cause let's face it people, no one wants to see what they're gonna see if your shirt only goes to your waist or hips when you're wearing leggings. And if they DO want to see it, then they're creepy and you probably don't want to be showing your stuff to them voluntarily. Plus, on top of all this, leggings are a tough item to find in a perfect fit, so chances are you've got some wrinkling and/or bagginess going on as well, which is never a good look for anyone.

Please, take all this into consideration, but with a grain of salt as well. I guess what I'm really saying to all of you out there, is just think before you wear. Take a good look at yourself in the mirror, and understand that every person you see that day will have this view and more.

And also, sweatpants are not pants. That is all.
