ROFL!! That is definitely what my wife would do... No wait, I'd be responsible for killing it too! We have HUGE grass spiders out here in the country that typically get as big as the palm of your hand, and they (don't ask me how!) Invariably wind up in the master bathroom. Always while she's in there. Heh. I remember years ago she called me at work, trying to get me to come home during my shift to get rid of a Jiang spider, lol. ...at least the tarantulas out here never come in the house! (Usually only see them after a good rain and their ground homes are flooded out:)
